About The Position

Snelling Staffing has an opening for a skilled Electronic Assembly & Repair Technician at our client located in Royal Oak. This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay rate of $20.00 - $23.00/hour. The role involves building cable assemblies, constructing shunt assemblies, repairing electronic controllers, assisting with modifications of analog and digital electrical/electronic meters, and supporting the repair and calibration of electrical/electronic test equipment.

Requirements

• Experience with soldering, crimping, and electronic assembly techniques.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Ability to read schematics and follow assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience with calibration and repair of electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build cable assemblies by crimping or soldering connector pins or sockets to appropriately colored wires and completing final assembly.
• Construct shunt assemblies by soldering wires to the shunt blade, installing brackets, and calibrating the assembly.
• Repair electronic Allamand solar arrow board controllers.
• Assist with modifications of analog and digital electrical/electronic meters.
• Support the repair and calibration of electrical/electronic test equipment.
