About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring Electronic Assemblers in Foxboro, MA. This is a Full-Time-Temp to Permanent opportunity. Your safety is our #1 Concern, with PPE provided. As an Electronic Assembler, you will assemble various electrical components and devices, working from blueprints, sketches, and other established procedures and data. You will also alter parts to suit assemblies as required, and inspect, label, pack, and identify assemblies as required. The role involves setting up and operating equipment, including tooling and controls, making necessary gauge adjustments and settings, and selecting proper raw stocks and checking against blueprint specifications. Additionally, you will segregate, sort, and dispose of scrap and write scrap tickets, and assist with hanging and removing parts on the powder coat line.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience.
Ability to carry out physical functions of the job: stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to reach overhead, pull and push to perform work.
Strong work ethic and good attendance.
A pre-employment drug screen as well as a background check is required.

Responsibilities
