This role involves using a variety of tools and equipment to assemble parts, pieces, modules, and/or components to required specifications for Navigation Aides, Surveillance Radios, and other Products as required. The assembler will be responsible for ensuring the work-station is in proper working order, reviewing parts and materials, understanding technical drawings, and preparing soldering equipment before assembly. During assembly, the role requires the use of hand and power tools, vision magnification, and adherence to IPC and Indra standards for mechanical and electronic assembly. The assembler will also perform necessary corrections, ensure timely product delivery, and complete any re-work as needed. Post-assembly duties include interfacing with engineering and production for product reliability and filing Engineering Change Orders with supervisor approval.
