This role is responsible for attaching, connecting, and operating electrodes from specified body areas to leads from the electroencephalograph machine. The technologist will review the patient's record and instruct patients before procedures, monitor the patient during procedures, and report any abnormal findings. They will also identify and correct for artifacts, edit and forward results to the attending physician for analysis and interpretation, and maintain EEG equipment and supplies.
