About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both mechanical and electrical systems across our manufacturing facility. This position bridges traditional millwright duties with industrial electrical maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. You will perform advanced troubleshooting on motors, VFDs, motor control centers, and sensors while executing mechanical repairs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing/processing, handling both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with multimeters, meggers, hand/power tools, rigging, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to work in heavy industrial environments (dust, noise, heat, weather).
• Ability to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in elevated or confined spaces.
• Availability to respond to emergency call-outs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems up to 480V, 24V electrical circuits, 4-20 mA circuits, sensors, AC/DC motors, starters, MCCs, and VFDs using voltmeters, meggers, and clamp meters.
• Inspect, rebuild, and maintain heavy machinery including conveyors (drag, screw, bucket elevators), pellet mills, hammermills, gearboxes, pumps, fans, blowers, and bearings.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders, valves, and compressors. Install and replace power transmission components using laser alignment tools.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to diagnose automated equipment, proximity switches, photo eyes, and industrial instrumentation.
• Complete work orders accurately within the CMMS. Strictly follow all LOTO, confined space, and safety procedures, prioritizing safety and quality over quantity.
