About The Position

As an Electromechanical Technician, you’ll support day-to-day manufacturing operations by helping maintain and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working alongside experienced technicians, you’ll learn how to troubleshoot equipment issues, complete preventive maintenance, and support improvements that keep production running safely and efficiently. This role is a great opportunity to build hands-on technical skills while contributing to safety, quality, and teamwork on the plant floor.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
If Level 1: associate degree or technical certificate in industrial maintenance or electromechanical technology (or related field) and 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience
If Level 2: associate degree or technical certificate in industrial maintenance or electromechanical technology (or related field) and 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience, manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to pass a respirator fit test

Nice To Haves

Basic PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting, including input/output hardware, motors, sensors, drives, basic electrical circuits, and device communication networks
Basic electrical skills, including interpreting the National Electrical Code (NEC), working with power systems and distribution up to 480v, and troubleshooting motor control and safety circuits
Basic mechanical knowledge, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems, plus utility systems like air, steam, and refrigeration
Familiar with instrumentation and field devices, including analog and discrete devices and test equipment such as an amp meter and megger
Able to read technical drawings and schematics and use common testing tools
Ability to use common testing tools and read technical drawings and schematics
Willingness to learn, follow safety procedures, and work as part of a team
Reliable, detail oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical production equipment
Solve problems in real time alongside operators while building their technical skills and capability
Troubleshoot, maintain, optimize, and improve production equipment to support key plant indicators like safety, quality, and cost
Build clear technical procedures
Use digital tools and tablets to input data into SAP and other online tools, including Digital Manufacturing Operators (DMO)
