About The Position

Cargill's protein and salt business is seeking an Electromechanical Technician III to join their team in Dodge City, KS. This full-time role is responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, including logic controller programming, equipment installation, and maintenance. The position offers a competitive compensation of $30/hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

Design and implement logic controller programming and modify existing logic programming, as requested
Frequently assist in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery (ex. conduit, wiring, power distribution, machine controls, machine automation, motors, counters, lighting and heat tracing)
Complete complex troubleshooting of machinery and automation failures including motor control devices, input sensing devices and other output devices
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the reliability of plant assets while troubleshooting machinery and automation failures as necessary
Independently inspect and complete maintenance on packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities and other mechanical and electrical systems
Other duties as assigned
