About The Position
The Electromechanical Tech takes ownership of equipment reliability and performance across the facility. The role combines hands-on electrical and mechanical expertise with problem-solving and continuous improvement to minimize downtime, optimize systems, and support a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some overtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of relevant electromechanical or industrial maintenance experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree.
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, including programming, troubleshooting, and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems to maximize equipment reliability.
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions that reduce downtime and improve plant performance.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, interpreting schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate across teams to uphold standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
