Keep production reliable by diagnosing faults quickly, executing smart maintenance plans, and partnering with operations to maintain safe, efficient equipment performance.
Requirements
- Think critically under pressure to isolate root causes
- Be meticulous with documentation and follow-through
- Collaborate across teams to ensure equipment readiness and smooth changeovers
- Champion proactive maintenance to prevent repeat faults
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across production machinery, material handling systems, and facility infrastructure
- Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance routines to minimize downtime
- Identify and repair problems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, conveyors, and PLC-driven/automation equipment
- Complete work orders, record findings and repairs, and communicate progress to supervisory staff
- Use schematics, blueprints, and OEM manuals to guide decisions and verify correct configurations
- Assist with new equipment installations, execute machine changeovers, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Apply strict safety practices, including proper lockout/tagout procedures
