About The Position

Trystar is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler for various assembly lines. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives and is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider. The Electromechanical Assembler proficiently assembles various high quality portable power distribution boxes in a safe manner within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect parts produced.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
  • Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical secondary education is preferred.
  • Have basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience for receiving and issuing products.
  • Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
  • Good hand dexterity and grip strength.
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams preferred.
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools required.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving ability.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task.
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, drives closure on open issues with minimal supervision.
  • High personal integrity and ethics with uncompromising standards.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the job orders and interact with Epicor.
  • Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
  • Must understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation including entering paperwork into Epicor. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.
  • Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
