About The Position

Responsible for working on various mechanical and electrode assemblies per standard operating procedures and processes. Performs all process steps to assemble all common mechanical and electrode assemblies as per accepted processes, procedures, and documentation. Performs various production administrative tasks to assist with the shipping of electronic devices and the delivery of products to the Quality and Shipping departments. Cleans, packs, and processes Electromechanical finished goods as needed. Completes daily production documentation accurately for every order. Performs all mechanical and electrode assemblies with high precision and detail, with minimal to no rework, and passing all QC inspections. Completes an order start to finish within standard cycle time allotted for the order. Uses various hand tools (screw drivers, diagonal cutters, wrenches, ratchets) for assembly processes. Operates basic manufacturing equipment as required for processes (heat gun, lathe, milling, hammering, punch presses, manual tabletop presses, pneumatic, grinding, polishing and testing devices, etc.). Maintains 6S on workspaces, equipment, and room cleaning as needed. Performs daily, weekly, and/or monthly preventative maintenance checks on tooling, equipment and dies used by the electromechanical department as needed. Promotes and models RWMIC Core Values in all interactions and responsibilities. Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures for assembly processes. Adheres to all PPE and safety requirements. Adheres to quality standards for assembly processes. Completes all Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines. Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position. Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager – Electromechanical.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of small part assembly experience, involving the use of some form of a magnifier is preferred.
  • Must be flexible to work different shifts or overtime as needed to support production schedules and meet quality objectives.
  • Ability to work with magnification equipment such as microscopes, eye loops, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.
  • Basic understanding of electronic measuring equipment such as digital multimeters preferred.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic PC Skills.
  • Experience with and understanding multi-cultural and multi-generational differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of small part assembly experience, involving the use of some form of a magnifier is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electronic measuring equipment such as digital multimeters preferred.
