About The Position

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Electromagnetics Test Engineer to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. BT&E has an immediate need for test and evaluation engineers in the area of antennas, RF propagation, and EM material measurements. This is an exciting opportunity that offers interdisciplinary work with both internal and external customers. The Electromagnetics Capability within BT&E is broad and stretches from Seattle, WA down to Huntsville, AL and provides practical solutions for RCS testing, antenna pattern characterization, EMC, EO/IR, material measurements, and more. This position involves working with an experienced, interdisciplinary and multi-organizational team to create innovative solutions to meet unique and challenging requirements in a laboratory environment. The team takes requirements from production programs as well as R&D efforts and applies them to laboratory tests. The engineer will be responsible for developing more efficient test methods using robotics implementation, leading new test efforts and capital projects, supporting a team of technicians and engineers during setup, test, verification, and validation of materials, and developing unique test standards, process specifications, and training materials for text execution. The candidate will work to develop general laboratory skills, mechanical skills, knowledge of RF equipment, strong technical judgment, and the ability to rapidly make and contribute to decisions that balance the overall test program. This role will require strong collaboration skills to work with an interdisciplinary and multi-organizational team to complete a test program that meets customer requirements. Must have organizational skills and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and continually changing environment. BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including an Entry-Level or Associate Electromagnetic Test Engineer.
