Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Medical Terminology.
- Ability to demonstrate arrhythmia recognition.
- One (1) year of previous related medical office experience.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in a related field.
- One (1) year in specialty.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring EKG rhythm strips, transcribing physician orders, and performing other support duties including but not limited to paging physicians, obtaining insurance pre-certification, arranging for home and medical care, and coordinating desk activities.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
