About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking an electrical engineer with EO/IR systems experience to support the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process and mission systems teams. The engineer will help translate mission systems requirements into improvements to EO/IR performance across a variety of platforms, working with existing teams and OEMs to develop and integrate upgrades and advanced technologies. The role includes augmenting designs and algorithms to improve system performance and integration, while also offering the opportunity to gain experience in the radar discipline.

Requirements

• Experience with EO/IR systems.
• Knowledge of systems integration challenges.
• Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations and warfighter capabilities.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with modern Navy EO/IR systems.
• Experience with the SETR process.
• Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting.
• Knowledge of system targeting algorithms and test techniques.
• Ability to analyze EO/IR designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration ease.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
