About The Position

Palermo's Pizza is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician for their brand-new facility in West Milwaukee. This role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring the smooth operation of machinery in a food production environment. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyor belts, packaging machinery, and food processing and bakery equipment. You will collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure equipment meets high standards of safety and efficiency. If you have a strong background in industrial maintenance and electro-mechanical systems and enjoy a fast-paced food production setting, this is an exciting opportunity.

Requirements

• Proven ability to operate safely by following all food and people guidelines.
• 5+ years’ experience with mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, and electrical repair.
• Organized and methodical approach to problem solving – often in a time-sensitive, tight-deadline situation where accuracy is critical.
• Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical technologies.
• Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.

Responsibilities

• Support production teams by maintaining and repairing all production lines.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
• Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas.
• Be involved in all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as, PLC’s, VFD’s, servos, robotics, and programmable devices.
