Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics
  • Working knowledge of production and support equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced setting

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or technical degree in a related field
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits
  • Experience with motor control systems, PLCs, communication systems, relay logic, and ladder logic
  • Familiarity with paper waste recovery systems, balers, and cyclone systems
  • Experience with machine roller and component rigging for overhead crane use
  • Safe working knowledge of shop equipment, including lathe, mill, press, welder, and saws

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned maintenance work orders and document work performed
  • Respond quickly to urgent Priority 1 maintenance issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment using diagnostic tools
  • Maintain and service production, facility, and auxiliary equipment
  • Support electrical systems including drives, PLCs, and control components
  • Assist with parts identification, equipment repairs, and installations
  • Participate in daily safety and priority meetings
  • Support root cause analysis for equipment failures
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Work overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned
