Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of production and support equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced setting
Nice To Haves
- Associate or technical degree in a related field
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits
- Experience with motor control systems, PLCs, communication systems, relay logic, and ladder logic
- Familiarity with paper waste recovery systems, balers, and cyclone systems
- Experience with machine roller and component rigging for overhead crane use
- Safe working knowledge of shop equipment, including lathe, mill, press, welder, and saws
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders and document work performed
- Respond quickly to urgent Priority 1 maintenance issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment using diagnostic tools
- Maintain and service production, facility, and auxiliary equipment
- Support electrical systems including drives, PLCs, and control components
- Assist with parts identification, equipment repairs, and installations
- Participate in daily safety and priority meetings
- Support root cause analysis for equipment failures
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational standards
- Work overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned
