Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
On the job training.
Must be able to transport oneself to, from, and around one’s designated work area on concrete surfaces which are often uneven, wet, and slippery.
Must have legible handwriting.
Must be able to climb and descend ladders.
Must be able to operate required shop hand and power tools.
Must have related technical school training or the equivalent work experience.
Detect and understand warning lights, buzzers, alarms, or instruments indicating hazardous conditions or circumstances which may cause equipment or product loss and physical harm.
Communicate effectively with various support groups, supervisors, and team members.
Work with, and be exposed to oils, greases, and solvents.
Work in confined spaces.
Push buttons, turn knobs, and flip switched on equipment.
Must be able to evacuate an area quickly in an emergency.
Must be capable of safely operating forklift equipment.
Able to work at least 40 hours per week on an assigned shift with some daily overtime required in case of emergencies and weekend overtime required.
Able to work in effective temperatures ranging from -05 degrees F.
Able to climb and work at heights of up to 110 feet.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall maintenance of the factory’s electronic systems/PLCs and programming.
Understand the safety risks associated with job.
Comply with all safety rules, procedures, and work practices.
Report all safety incidents.
Has read and understands the Safety, Health and Environmental Policy
Understand the aspects of the job that impact the environment.
Comply with all environmental rules, procedures, and work practices.
Report all environmental incidents.
Has read and understands the Safety, Health and Environmental Policy
Follow recipes and deviations at all times. Unauthorized deviations are strictly forbidden.
Comply with all FDA rules, procedures and work practices.
Follow all Nestle and GMP procedures.
Maintain confidential information on recipes.
Report all deviations from the recipe.
