About The Position
VEKA South., a proud member of the global VEKA group and the world's largest extruder of vinyl for the window and door industry, is hiring dedicated individuals for the role of Electro-Mechanical Technician. As the Electro-Mechanical Technician your main responsibilities are installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of our industrial equipment. VEKA is a member of the modern, family owned global VEKA group, the world's largest extruder of vinyl profiles for the window and door industry. With more than 5,000 skilled personnel employed worldwide, VEKA serves customers in over 30 countries. Since 1983, when VEKA established manufacturing operations in the United States, we’ve been one of North America’s most respected suppliers of vinyl window and door profiles.
Requirements
- Knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Good technical and mechanical ability.
- Understanding of technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, and instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in related field and/or journeyman experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, parts, and control panels.
- Electrical Troubleshooting.
- Perform mechanical repairs.
- Perform testing and inspections.
- Make decisions based on technical documents.
- Work as a team or alone to complete various projects.
