About The Position

This role is for an Electro-Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and modifying electrical and mechanical systems. The position involves investigating issues, performing maintenance and installation of electrical components, creating circuit layouts, diagnosing equipment problems to minimize downtime, and working with various electrical systems and components. Preventative maintenance is also a key aspect of the role to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years working as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment, or a degree in a related field
  • Experience with Allen Bradley systems, VFDs, PLC hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits, and 440 MCCs
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, and parts lists
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with both electrical and mechanical systems
  • A strong focus on maintaining high safety standards

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school certification, related degree, or equivalent electro-mechanical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Investigate mechanical, operational, and electrical issues and take corrective action
  • Perform maintenance, wiring, and installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, testing, and power circuits
  • Create and maintain up-to-date layouts of electrical circuits
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues to reduce downtime and improve operational performance
  • Work with PLC systems, Allen Bradley technology, VFDs, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits, and 440 MCCs
  • Perform preventative maintenance to support equipment reliability and workplace safety
