About The Position

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Repair Specialist to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing hardware, troubleshooting hardware issues down to the circuit board level, and fabricating custom cables. The position may require CONUS travel.

Requirements

Three (3) years of general maintenance and repair experience in computer based electro-mechanical equipment.
Demonstrated ability to solder multi-layer circuit cards, cables, and connectors.
Demonstrated ability to analyze circuit card assemblies to identify problems at the component level.
Work with electrical diagnostic tools.
Ability to travel (CONUS).
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, assist in moving equipment, and ability to crawl underneath a raised flooring system to set up electrical wires.
Must be able to obtain desired certifications with 90 days of start and maintain such certifications.
An active interim DoD Secret clearance is required to start; but applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ring laser gyroscope, such as AN/WSN-7.
Experience with 400HZ converter sets.
Experience with NAVSSI and GPNTS.
Must obtain a valid J-STD-001 solder certification within 90 days of start.
Must obtain an Operator IPC 620 wire harness and cable certification within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

Maintaining, conducting maintenance, repair and install of hardware.
Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the circuit board level and fabricating custom cables.
Travel (CONUS) if needed.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
Follow existing procedures for equipment at the component, chassis, or system level.
Perform research on Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) material.
