What you’ll do Electrical systems: troubleshoot AC/DC circuits; interpret schematics; work confidently around high voltage; use a Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, and megohmmeter. Controls: apply industrial motor control and PLC knowledge to resolve I/O and sensor issues. Mechanical systems: repair/install centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, gearboxes, motors, control valves, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Fabrication and machining: operate a lathe and vertical mill; perform TIG/stick welding; use a cutting torch safely. Reliability: complete preventive and corrective work; build short- and long-term repair plans; ensure equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and uptime. CMMS: document work, track parts, and drive repeatable results using our computerized maintenance management software. Collaboration: coach entry-level techs and jump in to finish in-progress repairs when calls come in. Who you are A calm, urgent problem-solver who performs under pressure to get lines back online. Work environment Large manufacturing facility with loud equipment. Indoor conditions vary by season; some areas have limited climate control. Assignments shift daily based on plant priorities.

Requirements

  • 18+ years old.
  • Available for weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Able to lift 15–50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Comfortable with extreme temperatures/humidity, slippery surfaces, and hazardous/loud equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
