Electro-Mechanical Reliability Technician Picture the start of your shift at 6:00pm. You review work orders, gear up with a safety-first mindset, and head to a press showing a hydraulic leak. You isolate the issue, swap the seal kit, verify pressures, then move on to a scheduled PM—inspecting belts, lubricating bearings, and checking electrical connections. Later, a fabrication request comes in: you MIG weld a simple bracket, reinstall, and validate alignment. Before 6:00am, you document every step in the maintenance system and hand off clear notes. That’s a typical night—hands-on, varied, and rewarding. Schedule 6:00pm to 6:00am on a 2-2-3 rotation with every other weekend off. Training will be done on day shift. What You’ll Tackle Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues across the plant. Execute preventative maintenance routines to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Perform welding and light fabrication independently (MIG/TIG/Stick as needed). Accurately record work orders, parts used, and corrective actions in the CMMS. Champion safety protocols, compliance standards, and a zero-incident mindset.
