This role applies electrical theory, Ohm’s Law, Electrical code, base programming, and related knowledge to repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, and controls. The secondary role is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 5 years of mechanical and electrical experience, and possess basic skills in motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and programmable controllers. A desire to continuously improve knowledge of existing and new equipment is essential. Experience with PLC troubleshooting, HVAC skills, fabricating, TIG and MIG welding is preferred, as is experience in the food industry. The role requires the ability to use hand tools, good motor coordination, a proven record of safe equipment handling, attention to detail for sensitive adjustments, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills are necessary, along with the flexibility to adjust schedules to provide electrical support across all shifts.
