About The Position

Keep Production Moving — One System at a Time Role Snapshot Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across plant equipment. Execute preventative maintenance on assigned machinery. Weld and fabricate components with minimal guidance. Document work in the maintenance system accurately and on time. Use advanced electrical skills to troubleshoot safely and effectively. Shift & Training Schedule: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., 2-2-3 rotation. Initial training will be on 1st shift.

Requirements

  • Electrical/PLC manufacturing background with the ability to read ladder logic and program HMIs.
  • Experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs and controls.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing.
  • Mechanical, welding, and cutting skills.
  • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
  • Workbench competency and basic computer skills.
  • Meter usage and precision measurement (including tape measure reading).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Safety training: lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined space.
  • May require CPR and First Aid training.
  • PLC troubleshooting, programming, and wiring.
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Hydraulics experience; plumbing familiarity.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must successfully complete an electrical board and PLC programming hands-on assessment.
