About The Position

Join our team as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, where you'll work with cutting-edge mobile surveillance technology. In this role, you'll be responsible for refurbishing, assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mobile surveillance units to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to pass an extensive screening process
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic electrical wiring skills, working knowledge of wire types and sizes
  • Inventory and equipment maintenance skills required.
  • Working knowledge of wire types and sizes
  • Understanding of job safety practices.
  • Working knowledge of wire types and sizes
  • Knowledge of good practice standards in using manual or electric hand tools
  • Strong verbal, problem-solving and follow-up skills with the ability to coordinate and perform several tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, and with limited resources.
  • Regular lifting and moving objects 10-50 lbs.
  • Eyesight sufficient to read, write and operate equipment essential to this position.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to maintain concentration, visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, move and respond.
  • Must be capable of using or learning to use power tools and lifts properly.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience a plus.
  • Relative experience in warehouses, machine maintenance, or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operates hand and power tools.
  • Assist in building and refurbishing Mobile Surveillance Units, Cameras, and PSU’s.
  • Wiring of onboard electrical systems.
  • Low voltage, batteries, cameras and communications (Cat5/6 cabling).
  • Basic mechanical repairs of trailers.
  • Complies will all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking merchandise.
  • Wear the proper safety equipment.
  • Ability to adapt to everyday changes.
  • Experience of conducting test and inspection of products to evaluate quality and performance.
  • Must be able to work on several projects / tasks simultaneously
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain high level of knowledge in mobile surveillance and other related technologies.
  • Test completed units for full functionality.
  • Clean, prep, and test returning units for redeployment.
  • Perform other duties as required
