This position is responsible for performing various hands-on mechanical, electrical, and/or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and complete assembly operations of Perfusion modules using standard manufacturing documentation and equipment. The role contributes to meeting production targets without compromising safety and quality, collaborates with team members to maintain the pace of the production line, and ensures expected output levels are achieved. The assembler will maintain stock in the appropriate kanban location, escalate before material runs out, and recommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practices. They will also assist in basic troubleshooting of assembly processes and equipment under guidance and follow instructions from engineers, assisting in the implementation of prototypes or process changes. Support for Lean, Health and Safety Initiatives is expected, along with performing other TransMedics tasks and duties as required.
