Electro-Maintenance Mechanic
About The Position
Electro Mechanical Technicians work on state-of-the-art packaging equipment, robots, PLCs, ladder logic, and more. They provide technical support to the production environment, ensuring optimal machine functioning for consistent quality product. This role involves troubleshooting and fixing mechanical and electrical problems on high-speed cheese packaging lines and assisting with the installation of new equipment. Some stainless steel welding and machining experience is a plus but not a requirement. Requirements
- Possess a high mechanical aptitude.
- Able to read and write English.
- Able to solve basic math problems.
- Able to give and accept constructive criticism.
- Work as a team player.
- Responsible for maintaining a professional image with customers, peers, supervisors and the public.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Associate’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, or five or more years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
Nice To Haves
- Stainless steel welding experience.
- Machining experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic is preferred.
Responsibilities
