This role is a 2nd shift position. The hourly rate for this role is $32.03; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background, and demonstration of basic educational competencies (reading, writing).
  • Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension
  • Competent with hand tools and experienced with measuring equipment
  • Basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval
  • Obtain certifications and qualifications required to perform job
  • 8 hour RCRA hazardous waste handler training (initially and annually)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operation of ECM and CNC machines.
  • Obtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gauging
  • Performs ECM functions
  • Performs general machining as required in support of ECM process
  • Sets up and operates manual machines necessary to produce pre and post ECM module parts. For example (not all inclusive): Lathes Grinders
  • Performs Rockwell testing
  • Performs in-process inspection as a certified operator
  • Performs computer transactions
  • Moves parts to, from, within module
  • Cleans machines including filter press
  • General housekeeping
  • Provides direction to Module Support Tech
