As the Electrified Powertrain Controls Software Engineer, you work within the span & scope of Diagnostics, High Voltage Charging, Climate Controls, Energy & Power Management, High Voltage Component Controls, Propulsive Controls, and many others. Requirements

  • A bachelor or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience programming in C or a similar language
  • 1+ year of experience developing software for embedded control systems
  • 1+ year of experience in automotive, or a similar industry
  • 1+ year of experience in roles demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in a multi-functional environment to define electrified vehicle controls requirements
  • Translate requirements into software design, then implement and validate the controls' algorithm in C-code
  • Complete testing of software changes in unit-test, Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and/or Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing environment
  • Maintain Feature Functional Description documentation, Calibration guides, Feature Requirements, Install guides, and release notes for each software release
  • Develop feature DV tests
