About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in a complex automotive glass manufacturing facility. This role involves performing electrical/electronic diagnosis, repair, and installation of machinery. You will also assist with process improvements, routine quality checks, and analyzing process stoppages due to equipment failure. The position requires diagnosing and correcting unscheduled machine downtime and assisting Engineers with process improvements. Daily line monitoring assessments are also a key part of the role, along with regular and predictable attendance and the ability to work cooperatively with others.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 technical trade school apprentice or 6+ years of experience in electrical/electronic diagnosis, repair, and installation of complex machinery and systems in a manufacturing facility required.
• Must be a Journeyman Industrial Electrician.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, PLC, servo, NC and power systems required.
• Ability to apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment.
• Ability to work alternative work schedules, including 12 hour shifts and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer Associates Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with others.
