About The Position

The Electrician position is responsible for conducting maintenance and repairs of instrumentation, automation, electrical and related systems. This position reports to the Electrical Foreman. This position resides at the St. Rose Terminal, but is also responsible for duties at the Avondale terminal.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to learn and adapt in a growing and changing environment
Working knowledge of both high and low voltage systems as well as basic knowledge of instrumentation and automation
Terminal maintenance experience
Instrumentation and automation skills
Knowledge of pump motors, VFD’s, actuators and radars, transformers and control valve
Ability to read and program logic in PLC’s
Valid Driver’s License
TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) for access to IMTT’s terminal locations.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
Ability to understand written and verbal communication in the English language.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
Ability to work closely with others with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others.
Ability to represent IMTT in a professional and positive manner.
Ability to manage numerous projects in a frequently changing work environment
Compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Ability to interact with vendors, service providers, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective in Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc)
