This role involves the installation, inspection, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment. The electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting complex problems related to equipment and operational malfunctions, including diagnosing issues to the board component level. A key aspect of the job is working safely around voltages up to 69KV, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position requires a thorough understanding of the plant's power distribution system, including substations and numerous disconnecting locations. Responsibilities also include complex work planning to support production schedules, performing electrical repairs on plant equipment and high voltage lines, and troubleshooting various control systems such as boiler controls, hydrogen reformer controls, and AP5 controls. The role involves calibrating and adjusting instruments, troubleshooting motors and motor starters up to 4160V, servo drives and motors, prox switches, solenoids, and limit switches. Additionally, the electrician will interpret and maintain analysis information, document daily activities, troubleshoot cold end robots and servo pick-and-place systems, and adhere strictly to Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Maintaining quality housekeeping and good safety practices is essential. Completion of required training is a qualification for this position, and other duties may be assigned by supervision.
