About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Mine Electrician to support electrical reliability across all site operations. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems that are critical to production. This position plays a key role in a team-oriented maintenance environment, where collaboration across electrical and mechanical disciplines is essential. The ideal candidate is not only technically strong but also willing to step in and support broader maintenance activities as needed to keep operations running efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5+ years of industrial or mining electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical systems and controls
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
• Willingness to support non-electrical maintenance work
• MSHA certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Experience with high-voltage systems and power distribution preferred
• Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including motors, MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, generators, and distribution systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues on both mobile and stationary mining equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical infrastructure
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, NEC, and company safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance
• Assist maintenance team with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
• Support equipment uptime and reliability initiatives
• Participate in inspections, repairs, and rebuilds of mining equipment (loaders, conveyors, pumps, etc.)
• Perform general maintenance tasks during high-demand periods
• Contribute to a strong, team-based maintenance culture
