About The Position

Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as an electrician in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites. This is a project-specific position with an anticipated duration of approximately 6 months. Employees will work a two-week on two-week off night shift rotation. Compensation is provided to and from the work site for each turnaround, provided all company travel eligibility requirements are met. As well as a daily living out allowance for employees who meet and provide eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• Journeyperson Electrician
• 600v to 25kv experience
• Trained in operating mobile equipment (Telehandlers, AWP, Etc)
• Computer skills
• Organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts nights
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in an underground mine environment

Nice To Haves

• General Mine Safety Awareness is an asset
• Fall protection is an asset

Responsibilities

• Various electrical construction installations including but not limited to: 3M cable splicing, high-voltage stress cone installations, trouble shooting underground electrical equipment, reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics, executing glanding and cable terminations, messenger cable installation, mounting and securing electrical equipment, various equipment installation (motors, switchgear, transformers), installation of strut channel systems.
• Participation in safety meeting and toolbox talks with supervision, crews and clients.
• Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task.
