About The Position

The Electrician is responsible for electrical assembly, wiring, and testing of generator set packages and related systems in a production environment. This role works hands-on with drawings and equipment to ensure electrical systems are built safely, correctly, and ready for service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
  • Experience installing wiring and forming conduit using hand and shop tools
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety practices
  • Self-starter with good time management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and work overtime when required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required (motor vehicle report required for final candidate).

  • Computer proficiency preferred (Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble generator set electrical systems
  • Install electrical wiring, control panels, and electrically operated devices
  • Form, bend, and install conduit using hand tools and shop equipment
  • Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and verification of completed circuits
  • Complete required documentation and test records accurately
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment
  • Support production schedules and assist with additional shop duties as assigned
