About The Position

You’re an experienced electrician who loves working on a team, but deserves a team with the skills and knowledge to do great work. This is the job for you! As an Electrical Installer, you’ll plan installation jobs, install new systems (panel upgrades, service upgrades, light fixture, generators, new circuits, and more!), lead your install crew, hold your crew to high standards, and keep the install site safe and organized. You’ll be helping families get the electrical help they need! You won’t have a boss yelling at you here. You’ll get the respect you deserve! Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Minimum 2–5 years of residential electrical installation experience (depending on position level)
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
Experience installing electrical panels and service upgrades
Experience wiring for residential homes
Experience installing lighting fixtures and ceiling fans
Experience installing switches, outlets, and breakers
Experience installing whole-home surge protection
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Experience using electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Problem solver who adapts quickly and does not panic easily under pressure
Ability to adjust to changes in projects and come up with a new plan fast
Leader with high standards, able to be encouraging and motivating
Great work ethic, positive attitude, and good attention to safety
Good at juggling multiple things at once and hitting deadlines
Comfortable working on multiple projects or with multiple people at once

Nice To Haves

Experience installing generators
Experience installing EV chargers
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
Experience in residential service and installation environments
Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
OSHA safety training certification
Experience with smart home technology installations

Responsibilities

Plan installation jobs, looking over the details of each job before getting started to make sure you have everything you need (including a plan!) to get things done perfectly for the customer.
Install new systems, including panel upgrades, service upgrades, light fixtures, generators, new circuits, and more. Assist with HVAC/plumbing installs when needed.
Lead your install crew, ensuring helpers or apprentices are capable and motivated. Lead the way and call the shots on installations.
Hold your crew to high standards, ensuring each install job is done right the first time.
Keep the install site safe and organized, ensuring everything is taken care of safely and the workspace is organized for safety and efficiency.
Help families get the electrical help they need.
Work in an environment where you will receive respect and not have a boss yelling at you.
