Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • A safety-first mindset with strict adherence to lockout/tagout and electrical codes
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under close supervision and follow detailed instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an industrial electrician apprenticeship or trade school program

Nice To Haves

  • State or local journeyman electrician license preferred
  • Experience with electrical systems, motors, transformers, VFDs, and diagnostic tools
  • Familiarity with PLC ladder logic and automated systems

Responsibilities

  • Install wiring, conduit systems, power supplies, lighting, and other electrical components following blueprints and technical specifications
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic control systems using test instruments to identify faults
  • Work with and interpret automated industrial systems, including PLC ladder logic programs
  • Follow all electrical safety standards, codes, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance work
