About The Position

The Physical Plant at Massanutten Resort is looking for an experienced Electrician. This position requires complete understanding of single and three-phase electrical repair, wiring and installation, 120v to 460v. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose and make repairs or new installations, follow safety codes, and understand procedure manuals and other guidelines and company standards. This is a Monday through Friday job with occasional weekends. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Complete understanding of single and three-phase electrical repair, wiring and installation, 120v to 460v
Valid driver’s license with approved driving record
Willingness to obtain a VA State Electrical license (if needed)
General knowledge of every cycle and its components such as accurately read schematics and blueprints
General building maintenance- residential or commercial
Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs
Good communications skills
Proactive problem solver focused on delivering excellent customer service and continuously identifying opportunities for growth
VA State electrical license (willingness to obtain)
VA State Journeyman license (prefer or willingness to obtain)
