We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Electrician. This position reports to Facilities Manager and will work in Vancouver, B.C. Vancouver: Dometic Marine’s headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion-based products. As Electrician on the Vancouver team, you will be involved in installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical equipment, wiring, and control systems. They ensure heavy machinery runs safely, minimize production downtime, and must strictly comply with electrical codes and safety regulations. Supports ongoing production and development of new manufacturing cells and design test centers.

  • Set up, replace, or repair electrical wiring, conduits, switchgear, transformers, and electrical motors.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
  • Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, reactors and electrical systems.
  • Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Use diagnostic testing devices to pinpoint electrical/electronic failures and fix them promptly.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to prevent system breakdowns.
  • Conduct maintenance programs and keep records.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and complex electrical drawings.
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automated industrial control systems.
