About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code, inspecting and testing electrical components, and completing work orders. This position requires the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, survey electrical systems, and bend conduit. Experience with refrigeration control wiring is a plus.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- 3+ years experience in the electrical trade
- Able to work well on a team
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Refrigeration Control Wiring is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
- Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
- Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears
- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
- Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
- Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans
- Able to Bend Conduit up to 1 inch
