Requirements

Must be able to pass vision exam per appropriate medical requirements
Must be able to pass an audio test per OSHA standards

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical and electronic wiring and cabling, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Measure, cut and assemble cable tray and cable support systems.
Plan new or modified installations in compliance to One-line’s, wiring drawings and schematics, knowledge of various electrical and distribution systems architectures and capabilities.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Terminate wires to circuit breakers, transformers, motors, PLC’s, fuses, relays or other components.
Possess basic understanding of both above grade and below grade conduit installations.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and meggers to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Obey and follow all Bilfinger Inc safety rules and policies.
Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
Perform all other duties as assigned by manager
