This role involves performing electrical work on industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops. The electrician will be responsible for practicing safety rules, following instructions, using tools safely, reporting to their supervisor, performing quality work according to project specifications, and being accountable for tools and materials at the end of their shift. The position requires the ability to work as part of a team, perform terminations up to 1500V ac and dc, read construction drawings, understand specifications, have a basic understanding of electrical systems, install underground cabling and conduits, use basic electrical test equipment, and train/mentor helpers. Compliance with the company's drug and alcohol policy, passing a physical examination, and the ability to work while wearing personal protective equipment are also required.
