About The Position

L&A Utility Solutions Inc. is expanding our operations in Houston, TX, and we are looking for skilled Electricians to join our team. Whether you have a background in commercial electrical work, industrial systems, or utility services, we value your expertise, technical precision, and commitment to safety. Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or utility electrical work.
  • Valid Apprentice, Residential, or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
  • Solid understanding of AC/DC circuits, conduit bending, wire sizing, grounding/bonding, and the NEC.
  • Comfortable working at heights from bucket trucks or ladders (safety training provided).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record (CDL is a major plus).
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (we will assist the right candidate in obtaining this).

Responsibilities

  • Install, wire, and connect electrical services, disconnect switches, power meters, and distribution panels.
  • Run, bend, and secure EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit; pull wire and cable for aerial and underground applications.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical components, control systems, and power hookups for utility and telecom structures.
  • Operate bucket trucks safely to perform electrical work on utility poles, light structures, and rooftops.
  • Interpret electrical single-line diagrams, schematics, site construction prints, and NEC specifications accurately.
  • Maintain a strict safety mindset, adhering to OSHA, NEC (National Electrical Code), and company safety standards at all times.
