About The Position

This is an onsite contract role for an Electrician. The position involves assembling equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications, ensuring documentation and communication of changes and problems, and carrying out assigned tasks with minimal supervision. The role also requires assisting with the execution of ISO/Quality Standards, communicating with the project team on open issues and progress, and contributing to the successful execution of assigned programs related to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key responsibility. The electrician will effectively and safely troubleshoot wiring and circuits, wire according to NEC, and read and understand schematics.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of: Schematic interpretation, Panel building, Machine wiring, and Trouble shooting.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or individually.
  • Ability to maintain a steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing onto and beneath machines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
  • Ability to obtain a Hi-Lo (Fork Lift), Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane license, along with Lock Out Tag Out training, while employed.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years’ electrical experience preferred.
  • Related vocational education preferred.
  • Journeyman’s card preferred.
