About The Position

AIM Recycling is currently looking for an Electrician to join its team at our Montreal - East location. This is a permanent full time position on a rotation night shift. Reporting to the Electrical Department Supervisor, the C-licensed electrician will install, repair and maintain electrical and automation systems.

Requirements

• DEP in Electricity
• C license (mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing or industrial environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain property and equipment under his/her jurisdiction in good condition, in accordance with the Quebec Electrical Code
• Identify, investigate and diagnose equipment failures, irregularities and malfunctions, and apply corrective measures promptly
• Promote and suggest ways to improve productivity and quality
• Follow calibration methods and procedures
• Carry out preventive maintenance, safety items and work required by production for the smooth running of the operation
• Keep work areas clean and safe
