About The Position
Uline is hiring an Electrician for its Texas Branch in Irving, TX. The role is part of the Facilities team, which helps manage the company’s facilities. The Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and supports the safe and efficient operation of Uline’s facilities. The position is on-site and scheduled Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with evening and weekend work when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Comprehensive understanding of NEC, IEC, and NFPA 70E standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to move equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Availability for evening and weekend work when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman and/or Master electrician qualification.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including power distribution, generators, and life safety systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform electrical calculations in accordance with the NEC.
- Troubleshoot issues using power meter data and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist other facilities team members with drywall maintenance and repairs, patching, painting, doors, locks, and restrooms.
