About The Position

Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Building Electrician at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Under the general supervision of the Electrical Supervisor and Director of Facilities, the Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility electrical systems (120/208v, 120/240v, and 277/480v) and lighting systems. This role also involves providing temporary power for food and beverage services and distributing show power for specific events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus successful completion of a classroom electrical program or on-the-job electrical training.
• 2-4 years of electrician work experience.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.
• Knowledge of the proper use of tools, techniques, and equipment in the electrical trade.
• Must be able to work all shifts as needed: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have basic tools used in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial/industrial electrical work, including maintenance and repair (M&R) of all electrical systems.
• Install receptacles, lighting fixtures, and change ballasts and lamps.
• Provide temporary show power when required for specific events and for food and beverage services.
• Assist other departments when required.
