Requirements

  • Good understanding of Ontario electrical code
  • Must possess Journeyman Certification in either 442A or 309A
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI required
  • 1 year experience as an industrial electrician mandatory
  • Proven knowledge of following safety procedures
  • Excellent troubleshooting, demonstrate problem-solving skills and continuous learning mindset

Nice To Haves

  • 3 year experience preferred
  • Certificate of apprenticeship preferred
  • Experience with VFD, all kinds, preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment
  • Use PLC to troubleshoot production breakdowns and improve processes
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings - European and North American
  • Scope work as needed to generate work orders for corrective work
  • Use SAP to look at scheduled work and document maintenance activities
