About The Position

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Electrician to perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in a non-driving capacity. This role focuses on on-site electrical tasks within a designated work area. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a qualified electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, local codes), safety standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, confined spaces).
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred (where applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduits, fixtures, and control equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical malfunctions, utilizing various testing devices.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and proficiently.
