Traveling Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician
About The Position
Tradesmen International is hiring experienced Licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a large-scale AI data center construction project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. This is a long-term opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, consistent overtime, and per diem for eligible travelers. The role involves installing electrical conduit, raceways, cable tray systems, wiring, and electrical equipment on a commercial or industrial construction project. Electricians must follow electrical drawings, installation layouts, NEC requirements, and site safety procedures. Work may be performed from lifts and elevated work platforms.
Requirements
- Commercial or industrial electrical construction experience.
- Hands-on experience with conduit bending, raceway installation, cable trays, and wire pulls appropriate to the candidate's experience level.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and follow applicable electrical safety requirements.
- Journeyman Electricians must hold an active New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license or an active Journeyman license from an eligible reciprocating state: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, or Wyoming.
- Apprentice Electricians must be enrolled in a New Mexico apprenticeship program.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Completed 10-panel drug screen.

- Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Bend, route, and install electrical conduit and raceways, including offsets and complex bends.
- Install cable tray systems and perform large wire and cable pulls.
- Install switchgear, transformers, and related electrical equipment, including terminations when qualified.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, follow installation layouts, and complete installations in accordance with NEC requirements.
- Safely perform electrical installations from lifts and elevated work platforms while following site safety procedures.
